The instructor will provide a scheduled weekly Q&A session for additional assistance. In addition, students will need to complete 125 computed tomography procedures at a clinical site to be eligible to sit for the ARRT Computed Tomography certification exam. Clinical competencies do not have to coincide with the didactic portion of this course. Students may wait and complete clinical competencies after they have completed this didactic course. If students choose to do both didactic and clinical rotations together, they will need to secure a clinical site and document their completed clinical competencies through the ARRT at www.arrt.org. The instructor will provide a clinical exam log sheet to help students stay organized when documenting their completed exams.
